Adrian Kent was born in Norfolk, England, in October 1976. He was one of four children to Clive and Patricia and is thankful for a great childhood.

He spent much of his youth searching for adventure with friends and would rarely be found indoors regardless of the time of year. That spirit for adventure would follow him for the rest of his life as a soldier and an outdoor enthusiast.

After spending ten years in the British Army as a non-commissioned officer, including serving in 3 Commando Brigade, Adrian moved into the security sector, focusing on protecting people, assets, organisations, and reputations. This is where most of his ideas and knowledge of the genre he writes comes from.

With the success of the modern sci-fi ‘Rye Braden’ series, writing modern-day thrillers was an inescapable genre for his continued writing. This led to the upcoming release of ‘Primal Frenzy’, a modern-day thriller with a twist where hysteria meets technology.

Living in South Wales with three daughters and with his partner Leanne, Adrian finds as much time as possible to continue his writing.
